Early Intervention Center
Reaching out to Young Children with Special Needs
and to their families...
Home-Based Services
- Provided to children ages birth to
six years who are eligible to
"Babynet" or services through
the SC Department of Disabilities and Special Needs
- Special Instruction which involves
working directly with the child and parent
- Weekly home visits
- Developmental activities to help the
child develop
- Active family involvement
- Service Coordination which is
assistance in obtaining and managing other services which
may be needed
- Provided at no cost to families
Preschool Services
- Available to children birth to six
years who have a developmental delay or who are at risk for
developmental delays. Typically developing children
are also accepted
- 2,3,4, or 5 morning programs
- 1:3 Teacher to child ratio
- Skilled staff
- Developmental Assessment and
Individualized Program Plans
- Safe, nurturing, stimulating
learning environment
- Developmentally appropriate
activities
- Physical, occupational and speech
therapy services available
- Active parent participation
- Fees are charged for the preschool
program
- ABC Special Needs Vouchers accepted
