The Society of 1896
Epworth Children's Home has introduced an attractive and
rewarding planned giving and estate plan recognition program
approved by the Board of Trustees and designed to offer a method
whereby individuals may provide support for our children in
perpetuity, by remembering Epworth in their wills and/or their
estate plans. Named to acknowledge the year of the founding of
Epworth, The Society of 1896 is designed to recognize those
persons who make a deferred/planned/estate gift to Epworth
Children's Home in the amount of $25,000. or more. The transfer
of the funding instrument that provides for membership in The
Society of 1896 may be, by definition, delayed. The only
requirement to satisfy membership in the Society is a document
containing an irrevocable commitment that Epworth Children's
Home is included in the individuals deferred/planned/estate
plan. The commitment to Epworth through The Society of 1896 may
be funded for general support of the children and programs or
for restricted purposes, with approval of the Board of Trustees.
We welcome an opportunity to discuss, confidentially, membership
in the Society with those persons who believe that they can make
a difference in the lives of our children and our institution
through a deferred/planned/estate gift. Please call us to make
arrangements for us to visit or to answer questions. |
