Family Resource Connection and Preservation Services

Epworth’s Family Resource Connection and Preservation Services (FRCPS) program partners with families in their homes or community-based settings to promote the safety, stability, and well-being of children from birth to age 17. The program is designed to strengthen family systems, reduce child welfare risk factors, and support long-term family success.

  • Family Centered Service Plan
  • Family Support Specialists visit families 1-3 times per week
  • Service duration from 60 days to 6 months depending on family’s needs
  • Individualized support based on each family’s needs
  • Services may include crisis stabilization, career coaching, substance use support, parenting support, concrete resources and more.
  • FRCPS Family Support Specialists utilize Motivational Interviewing, an evidence-based model proven to engage families positively to meet their goals
