Welcome To Epworth Children's Home

Annual Work Day Offering

September 12, 2010

Since 1896, faithful Methodists across South Carolina have been "achieving CARE" through their financial support of Epworth Children's Home. The Work Day offering began decades ago as a way for the Methodist people to contribute a "work day's wages" to the ministry.

Thousands of children all across South Carolina will be in need of a home this year because of the loss of their family through death, abuse or neglect. Epworth Children’s Home is our church’s ministry to those children.

The annual Work Day Offering is the second of two special Sundays designated by the Conference of our church to support the ministry of Epworth. Epworth is not an apportioned item, and relies heavily on these offerings received on Work Day to provide CARE to the more than 75 children who call Epworth home.

Your gift can shape the character and lives of the children who call Epworth home.
