Foster Care Clinical Coordinator Supervisor

The Foster Care Clinical Coordinator Supervisor will coordinate and oversee compliance and clinical services with the foster care program.  Provide supervision and oversight of the clinical services for children and youth in foster care.  Provide case management supervision to the Care Coordinators. Facilitate and coordinate best practices that maintain the highest level of safety, security and quality care for all clients in the Foster Care and Adoption Program.

Supervises administrative personnel, interns and students as assigned.

Qualifications for the Position:
Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or counseling
South Carolina Certified Adoption Specialist Certification required within 6 months of hire.
Two years’ experience working with children in the child welfare system.
Prior experience working with a child placing agency is highly desired.

REQUIRED SKILLS:   Must become a certified TFTC trainer within 6 months of hire.  Proficient in software programs necessary to administration, communication, and training, such as MS Office and Windows.  Must be able to pass standard background checks, including drug screen, employment physical, FBI fingerprint check, SLED, DSS Central Registry, and Sex Offenders Registry.  Has a belief system and engages in faith practices that are compatible with those of the United Methodist Church.
