It’s for the Kids!

The event is hosted by adults who spent some or all of their childhoods at Epworth.  For 121 years, Epworth alumni have transitioned from children from a disrupted childhood to become independent and successful adults.   Epworth alumni include business leaders, ministers, decorated military veterans and a wide spectrum of everyday successful citizens.  Through the “Cookout for Kids” the alumni return to the Epworth campus to give back to the place that helped raise them and provide for the next generation of children.  In addition to raising funds, the alumni make sure that every child at Epworth get a free BBQ meal and can enjoy the day as well!

Volunteer

Volunteers are needed for the event.    If you are interested in volunteering as a cook team or to help with hospitality and service on Saturday, please contact epworthalumniassociation@gmail.com.  Barbecue cook teams will setup their own equipment on campus and cook all night to prepare barbecue for service on Saturday.  Saturday needs include fixing meals and drinks, working the drive-thru line, keep the dining area clean, and more.
